2. General Product F.A.Q's
Un-covered products, templates etc.

2.1 Q: Can I order un-covered products?
Unfortunately, we don’t sell products un-covered. We have sold un-covered products in the past, but stopped after Mini In The Park 2007 when we saw the mess a customer had made when attempting to cover a product him/herself. However, it was not the fact that the customer had made such a bad job that made us stop selling un-covered boards, as they were delighted with their work, resulting in a very happy customer.

However, because they were so delighted with their ‘self covered product’, they spent the day letting everybody else know about it, and made sure to tell everyone that it was from Optimise Automotive (then Equinox Styling). As you can imagine this is something that we were not comfortable with, as the covering was not up to the standard of an Optimise Automotive covering. This resulted in potential customers being put off, as they assumed it was all our own work.

As a result, we have not sold an un-covered kits since. We are not trying to say that you wont do a good job yourself, but unfortunately we are no longer willing to take the risk.

So, you can have the item covered in an Optimise Automotive covering, or alternatively, if you already have the covering we will gladly use it to cover the item for you, just as long as the covering is suitable.

2.2 Q: Can you send me the dimensions for any of your products?
A: No, we do not sell templates of our products.

2.3 Q: Do you make custom boot installs / speaker boxes for other cars?
A: Yes, simply copy the following questions into the Optimise Automotive Contact Form, and answer them accordingly (use the example answers for help). Please note the minimum cost for this type of work is currently £100.
