Our Door Cards are the latest addition to the growing Optimise Automotive product range. We currently have the largest range of Classic Mini Door Cards available and we are also the first (and only) manufacturer / supplier to offer Door Cards that include speaker housing, within traditional designs.

As you can see from the photos below we offer 7 eye-catching Door Card ranges (8 in total - with the two Premium designs), designed to make a big difference to the appearance of the Mini’s interior, freshening it up with a fabulous set of luxurious Door Cards.

Three of the range (4 of the designs) are designed by, and unique to Optimise Automotive (the Classic-Twist, Monte-Carlo Twist and both Premium's), and our ‘Speaker Original' feature allows you to install 4” (10cm), 5” (13cm) or 6.5” (17cm) speakers in both the front and/or rear cards. Our 'Original' Door Card range is designed for those seeking a plain and simple look. If a dark or natural vinyl tone is chosen the Original range can look surprisingly luxurious, especially if combined with chrome door furniture. Alternatively, if a bright vinyl tone is chosen the range becomes extremely eye catching.

Our 'Classic' Door Card range is designed for those seeking a standard look. The Classic range looks great in all Mini's - retro or modern, race or  luxurious. Whatever the interior theme this plain and simple Door Card set is sure to compliment your interior perfectly.

If a combination of dark or natural vinyl tones are chosen the Classic range looks very luxurious, especially if combined with chrome door furniture. Alternatively, if bright vinyl tones are chosen the range becomes extremely eye catching.

Finally, because you can choose a two tone colour combination, it does not mean that you have to. One tone Classic Door Cards can look just as effective as two tone combinations - especially in dark and natural colours.

Our 'Premium' Door Card ranges are designed for those seeking something completely different to anything else currently available. Two designs are available, both designed by, and unique to Optimise Automotive.

The first 'Premium' is specifically designed to compliment the layout and feel of a MK3 (Onwards) Mini interior. The  curved 'featured' area of the design incorporates the layout of the door furniture resulting in a 'designer' appearance. This, combined with the vertical lines of stitching creates a feel of refinement that is often reserved for prestigious modern super cars such as the Pigoni Zonda or Aston Martins DBS.

Finally, because you can choose a two tone colour combination, it does not mean that you have to. One tone Premium Door Cards can look just as effective as two tone combinations - especially in dark and natural colours.

The second 'Premium' is specifically designed to compliment the layout and feel of a pre MK3 (Onwards) Mini interior. Designed with a retro-classic theme in mind, the design follows the lines of the early doors. This, combined with the vertical stitching creates a feel of refinement that was previously reserved for prestigious classic cars such as the Jaguar E Type and Aston Martin DB5.

Finally, because you can choose a two tone colour combination, it does not mean that you have to. One tone Premium Door Cards can look just as effective as two tone combinations - especially in dark and natural colours.

Speaker Pods
Fit your Door Cards with sound!
We are currently the only manufacturer of Classic Mini Door Cards who offer speaker housing, within traditional designs. This feature allows for the installation of 4” (10cm), 5” (13cm) or 6.5” (17cm) speakers in both the front and/or rear cards within laser cut matching vinyl covered pods.

Please Note The Speaker Pods are photographed in blue vinyl on black vinyl Door Cards for illustration purposes only - all standard Speaker Pods will match the colour of vinyl covering they sit on top of.

How To Use The Chart
To work out the additional price that Speaker Pods cost please use the chart on the right. Front Door Card Speaker Pod sizes can be found on the left and rear Door Card Speaker Pod sizes can be found along the top. Simply select which Speaker Pod sizes you desire for front & rear, before following the options you choose right and down, along the table, to where they meet - this will then tell you the additional price.

Upholstered To Last
The entire range is manufactured to pass the test of time!
Our entire range of Door Cards is manufactured to pass the test of time. As a result, all seams are finished with a French stitch seam detailing, this maximises durability and also creates a feel of refinement that is often reserved for prestigious automotive brands.

Laser Cut Cards
The entire range is machined!
We are also currently the only manufacturer of Classic Mini Door Cards that use laser cut panels. This enables us to offer unrivalled levels of manufacturing quality and precision across the range, which in return, guarantees our Door Cards fit perfectly, every time.






Upholsterer's Foam Padding*
A standard feature across the range!
All Optimise Automotive Door Cards are padded with a 6mm upholsterer's foam backing, this gives the cards that luxurious feel that all Mini’s deserve. And as far as we are aware, we are the only manufacturer that offers a wide variety of Door Cards with foam padding, as a standard feature.





 
Polythene Sheet Backing*
It’s a standard Austin/Rover features and a standard one of ours too!
Our entire range of Door Cards comes with a polythene sheet backing, just like that found on the standard Mini Door Cards. We believe that this is an essential layer of damp protection, that, as far as we are aware, all other manufacturers of after market Door Cards fail to include as a standard feature.






Trim-Clips*
Another standard accessory - MK3 (Onwards) Mini's Only
MK3 (onwards) front cards require 18 trim-clips (9 per door) to be fitted and all of our MK3 (onwards) Door Card sets come supplied with these. This means that you don’t have to 'faff' around removing the clips from your old cards and installing them to your new ones. And, once again (as far as we are aware) we are the only manufacturer that offers trim-clips, as a standard feature.

Optimise Automotive would also like to make it known that they do not supply the commonly used black trim-clips, that are available for after-market Door Cards. For more information regarding this please click the link below:

Economy Door Card Sets
For those on a limited budget
We are well aware that some of you have a very limited budget available to you. So, when it comes to modifying or restoring your beloved Mini’s, we know that every penny you save helps towards making sure your Mini project finally gets finished.

As a result, in addition to our fabulous range of standard Door Cards we also offer a range of Economy sets. Available only in our Original (plain) and Classic designs, with a selection of 8 colours of luxury vinyl to choose from, our Economy sets are designed specifically for those of you on a tight budget.

*Please Note Features marked with a star above are not available on Economy Door Card Sets (upholsterer's foam padding, polythene sheet backing and trim-clips).


Our Door Card range is highly regarded in the Mini world and the radical improvements in the areas of design and ergonomic usability, combined with the additional features, set the range apart from the competition.

Design & Features availability
Some of the designs and speaker options are only available for specific models of Mini’s. Basically, some of the designs simply don’t work/fit with the designs/layouts of the Door Cards.

To avoid confusion, the chart below allows you to check which of the designs and speaker options are available for your Mini.

Optimise Automotive currently offer 26 choices of luxury coloured vinyl, which can all be combined with 20 colours of stitching.

Manufacturing

All Optimise Automotive Door Cards are laser cut from 3.5mm hardboard and the speaker pods are laser cut from 18mm MDF (concentric circles bonded together to create the desired depths), for ultimate precision and consistent high quality control.
